In “From Internet Porn to Love at First Sight,” Aimee searches for a new home but along the way discovers how the search reveals values, inherited and learned, way beyond real estate. She writes, “When my mother was unhappy with her life, she’d fantasize about moving. …I’d been trained to equate the right house with the right life.” However, her husband thinks differently.
